TL;DR

Middle Project Manager (AI): Drive 2-3 software development projects (web, mobile, AI/ML) from start to finish with an accent on interpreting business requirements to technical teams, coordinating distributed teams, and ensuring on-time delivery. Focus on defining deliverables, managing Agile/Waterfall processes, risk mitigation, and mentoring junior PMs.

Location: 100% remote, global team

Remote-first product design, engineering, and marketing studio founded in 2012 and based in Boston, building AI-powered web and mobile apps for brands and startups in sports, health, logistics, and nuclear domains.

What you will do

  • Drive 2-3 projects from start to finish, defining requirements, planning execution, and delivering customer value.
  • Interpret business requirements to technical teams and vice versa, estimate efforts, and document tasks with user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Participate in customer calls, provide updates, and maintain project boards.
  • Coordinate development teams including QA and designers, test systems before releases, and monitor progress.
  • Identify risks or bottlenecks, take full ownership for delivery, and help onboard newcomers while mentoring junior PMs.

Requirements

  • Upper-Intermediate English or higher.
  • 4+ years managing software development projects (web/mobile; AI/ML a plus).
  • IT background with technical understanding of web/mobile development.
  • Experience in Agile and Waterfall, business analysis, user stories, and process description.
  • Distributed teams management, manual testing, excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in dynamic environment with attention to details.
