Senior Software Engineer (React Native)

What you will do

• Support the launch and post-launch operation of the React Native companion app for licensed professionals.
• Ship full-stack features across accessible React interfaces, type-safe APIs, GraphQL, relational, NoSQL, and search data stores.
• Build shared web and mobile functionality across a unified TypeScript monorepo.
• Make architectural decisions focused on reliability, scalability, maintainability, and business outcomes.
• Own production results through instrumentation, incident response, and post-incident analysis.
• Improve code quality, testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, developer tooling, and engineering practices through reviews and mentoring.

Requirements

• 5+ years of production full-stack engineering experience with React, Node, JavaScript, SQL, TypeScript, and NoSQL.
• Experience with cloud-native development, CI/CD, and operating production systems.
• Strong system design skills with a focus on reliability, scalability, failure modes, and long-term maintainability.
• Experience building accessible web applications meeting WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
• Experience setting technical direction and mentoring engineers on collaborative, asynchronous, distributed teams.
• Ability to review and use AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or Copilot effectively.

Nice to have

• Native iOS or Android development experience alongside React Native, including App Store and Google Play releases and reviews.
• Familiarity with oRPC or tRPC, Pulumi, and Better Auth.
• Experience in accessibility-critical or heavily regulated environments.
• Experience tuning data access across relational, NoSQL, and search systems.
