Senior People Data and AI Engineer

Salary: $142,600–$213,800 USD (Zone D), $151,200–$226,800 USD (Zone C), $159,800–$239,600 USD (Zone B), or $171,800–$257,600 USD (Zone A), depending on location.

What you will do

• Design and maintain reliable pipelines unifying HRIS, recruiting, performance, compensation, and engagement data.
• Build governed data models and predictive or diagnostic models for attrition, hiring funnels, organizational networks, compensation equity, and workforce planning.
• Translate complex people questions into rigorous analyses and actionable recommendations for leaders.
• Support employee engagement surveys from instrument design and data collection through driver analysis and recommendations.
• Deploy AI agents and automations that monitor signals, generate reports, draft recommendations, and trigger workflows.
• Own the architecture and technical standards connecting pipelines, models, and agents while partnering with People, Data Platform, Security, and Legal.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Production experience building data pipelines with SQL, Python, dbt or Airflow, and cloud data warehouses.
• Strong foundation in statistics, machine learning, and experiment design.
• Working knowledge of people and HR data, including its privacy, ethical, and governance requirements.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs and agentic frameworks, including prompts, tool use, automations, and evaluation loops.
• Strong systems thinking and communication skills, including explaining models to executives and workflows to engineers.

Nice to have

• Experience with Workday, Visier, or other people analytics platforms.
• Background in organizational network analysis or workforce planning.
• Experience deploying AI in regulated or privacy-sensitive environments.
