What you will do

• Identify and interpret complex data patterns using statistical and machine learning techniques.
• Develop and deploy custom models into production environments to inform business decisions.
• Ensure model explainability to build stakeholder trust and transparency.
• Monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
• Mentor and train other data scientists on technical solutions and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and translate insights into actionable strategies.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, etc.).
• Minimum of six years of professional hands-on experience in statistical modeling, data mining, and predictive forecasting.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL with experience handling large, complex datasets.
• Experience operationalizing and deploying machine learning models in production.
• Strong communication skills to present analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or higher.
• Familiarity with R or bash command line shells.
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving code errors.
