TL;DR
Project Manager - II (Aerospace): Managing hardware availability and material readiness for the New Glenn 9 Engine Mid Module with an accent on engineering change control, procurement planning, and data-driven schedule management. Focus on validating MRP demand, aligning eBOM and mBOM data with engineering requirements, building Databricks and AI solutions, and mitigating critical aerospace program risks.

Location: Greater Seattle Area, United States. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted refugee or asylee under export control regulations.

Base pay for Washington applicants: $91,852–$128,592.45 per year. Other site ranges may differ.

What you will do

  • Ensure hardware availability for flight and qualification articles for the New Glenn 9 Engine Mid Module.
  • Maintain end-to-end planning and procurement signals for critical components.
  • Develop metrics and data engineering solutions using AI and Databricks to improve material-readiness visibility.
  • Validate MRP demand signals and resolve eBOM–mBOM mismatches against engineering requirements and build strategy.
  • Coordinate Engineering, Planning, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing teams to resolve technical issues affecting material flow.
  • Identify and initiate mitigation for critical schedule risks while aligning design and schedule performance with program-level tracking.

Requirements

  • Understanding of engineering change management and configuration control processes.
  • Working knowledge of MRP systems, technical procurement specifications, project scheduling tools, and technical timeline management.
  • Experience with Databricks, AI, SQL, and/or other programming languages.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and aerospace materials and process requirements.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills for translating technical data into actionable insights across functional teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM field and 3+ years of engineering project experience in aerospace or complex manufacturing environments.

Nice to have

  • Experience managing technical procurement for complex aerospace systems or assemblies.
  • Experience with ERP systems and technical data management platforms.
  • Knowledge of aerospace quality standards, manufacturing processes, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience applying SQL, Databricks, or BI tools to engineering and procurement processes.
