Senior Systems Engineer - Monitoring (Medical Devices)

Location: Pittsburgh, PA, United States; onsite hands-on support and up to 10% travel required

Annual salary: $110,000–$125,000

What you will do

• Lead the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise infrastructure systems and services.
• Modernize legacy infrastructure and improve configuration, lifecycle, patching, availability, and operational reliability.
• Design, implement, and troubleshoot resilient infrastructure solutions across multi-site datacenter environments.
• Resolve complex incidents and escalated tickets using ITIL-based processes and corporate ticketing systems.
• Develop automation and self-service capabilities using PowerShell and other scripting or orchestration tools.
• Create technical documentation and diagrams, collaborate with stakeholders and vendors, and mentor other team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in CIS, MIS, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of industry experience, preferably in enterprise environments.
• 7–9 years of experience designing, implementing, and managing enterprise datacenter platforms.
• Advanced knowledge of DNS, DHCP, PKI certificates, switching, firewalling, and virtual networking.
• 7–9 years of experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting complex Linux and Windows environments.
• Must be able to work onsite in Pittsburgh and provide hands-on datacenter support; immigration sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Current certification relevant to the supported technology, such as Windows Server Administrator, VMware Certified Professional, or NetApp Certified Professional.
