Senior Systems Engineer - Monitoring

Location: Pittsburgh, PA, United States; on-site corporate role with up to 10% travel and after-hours on-call support.

Annual salary: $110,000–$125,000.

What you will do

• Lead the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise infrastructure and monitoring systems.
• Assess infrastructure performance, configuration data, monitoring coverage, alerting, and operational effectiveness.
• Design resilient infrastructure solutions, proactive maintenance strategies, automation, and self-service capabilities.
• Resolve complex incidents and escalated tickets while supporting system availability, security, lifecycle management, and disaster recovery.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, internal IT teams, and external vendors on global infrastructure initiatives.
• Create technical documentation and diagrams, participate in on-call support, and mentor other team members.

Requirements

• Must work from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States.
• U.S. immigration sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
• Bachelor’s degree in CIS, MIS, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of industry experience, preferably in an enterprise environment.
• Experience owning and administering the full lifecycle of enterprise monitoring platforms, including design, implementation, onboarding, alert tuning, and continuous improvement.
• Experience with Windows and/or Linux systems, virtualization, SAN storage, network components, observability data, ITSM integrations, cloud environments, APM, and advanced automation using PowerShell or other scripting tools.
