Strategy & Planning Specialist Senior

What you will do

• Support strategic enterprise initiatives from problem definition and data collection through recommendation and delivery.
• Analyze financial statements, operational metrics, and complex datasets using Excel, SQL, SAS, and Python.
• Identify, size, and prioritize opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
• Optimize technology and business processes and translate findings into actionable strategies.
• Drive execution of recommended initiatives and collaborate across retail and shared-service organizations.
• Build professional networks through collaboration and thought leadership.

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant experience; roles at this level typically require 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or a comparable combination of education, certification, and experience.
• Strong analytical, strategic-thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Technical proficiency in SQL, SAS, and Python, with experience in coding-based analysis.
• Ability to understand systems and processes, interpret data, and develop actionable recommendations.
• Ability to work in-office in Pittsburgh, Cleveland, or Columbus.

Nice to have

• Experience with strategic planning, innovation, design thinking, change management, or machine learning.
