Branch Assistant (Banking)

Location: Toronto, ON; onsite full-time Monday through Friday

Annual base salary: $48,880–$53,870 CAD, plus potential participation in an annual discretionary incentive or bonus program.

What you will do

• Manage the reception area of the Wood Gundy branch and provide exceptional customer service.
• Support the branch manager and branch team with ongoing administrative activities.
• Respond to client requests, answer questions, and help connect clients with appropriate opportunities.
• Build client and community relationships through local events, marketing, and outreach activities.
• Maintain compliance standards in client dealings and client files.
• Assist with problem solving and branch management processes.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in business; Canadian Securities Course certification is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
• Client-focused communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Curiosity, willingness to learn, teamwork, trust, and accountability.
• Legal eligibility to work in the specified location; a valid work or study permit may be required.
