Universal Banker I (Banking)

Location: Burnaby-Hastings and Gilmore, Burnaby, BC; onsite full-time. The role may require working at multiple banking centres within a reasonable travel distance, including evenings and weekends.

What you will do

• Meet with personal and business banking clients to understand their priorities and recommend suitable products and solutions.
• Provide guidance on technology, cash management, credit, investments, and wealth protection.
• Develop forward-looking financial plans to support client goals.
• Build and deepen client relationships through outreach, marketing activities, and referrals.
• Introduce clients to mobile and online banking applications and help them manage their banking needs.
• Work collaboratively across banking centres to deliver a strong client experience.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience working with clients and achieving sales results.
• Current accreditation and good standing with a Mutual Funds License through the Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds In Canada.
• Client-first mindset, goal orientation, critical thinking, attention to detail, and strong relationship-building skills.
• Strong curiosity and willingness to learn about financial products and digital banking technology.
• Legal eligibility to work at the specified Canadian location; a valid work or study permit may be required.
• Ability to work banking centre hours, including evenings and weekends, and travel between nearby banking centres.
