Manager, Finance & Portfolio Analytics

Location: Toronto, ON; hybrid arrangement with 2–3 days per week on-site

What you will do

• Perform weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc portfolio analyses and reporting.
• Assess portfolio risk, monitor performance, develop KPIs, and optimize credit exposure.
• Collect and clean data from multiple sources and create SQL queries for business intelligence analysis.
• Build reporting dashboards and presentations using Power BI, Tableau, and related tools.
• Support analysis of RWA, Regulatory Capital, Economic Capital, and other risk reports.
• Partner with Finance, Risk, line-of-business leaders, and senior stakeholders on analytics initiatives.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in finance, risk management, portfolio analytics, or reporting within a major bank or related environment.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in economics, statistics, finance, analytics, computer science, MBA, or a related field.
• Strong experience with Excel, VBA, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, and reporting frameworks.
• Solid proficiency in Python and/or R and relevant analytics packages.
• Experience with credit risk, financial statement analysis, risk models, and regulatory requirements.
• Legally eligible to work at the specified Toronto location; a valid work or study permit may be required.

Nice to have

• CPA, CFA, or FRM designation completed or in progress.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure or Python Plotly.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
