Senior Manager, Capital Markets Controllership Business Initiatives & Analytics

Location: Toronto, ON, Canada; hybrid work with 1–3 days per week onsite at Toronto-81 Bay

What you will do

• Advise Front Office, Operations, Technology, Risk, CFO, and Finance stakeholders on Capital Markets controllership matters.
• Support the implementation of new products, initiatives, and systems.
• Investigate complex accounting and reporting issues and recommend solutions related to compliance, policy, controls, and risk.
• Lead continuous improvement and transformation initiatives for end-to-end Finance processes.
• Develop analytics with stakeholders using Alteryx, RPA/IPA, and Artificial Intelligence.
• Apply expertise in trade capture and Capital Markets systems including xTrader, ADP, WallStreet, and Bloomberg TOMS.

Requirements

• Strong controllership experience supporting Capital Markets accounting functions and financial controls.
• Expertise in IFRS, Financial Reporting, and reporting requirements for financial instruments.
• Current CPA or CFA accreditation in good standing.
• Strong critical thinking, analytical, problem-solving, relationship management, and organizational skills.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada at the specified location; a valid work or study permit may be required.
