ILS2: Operational Support Specialist - Scheduling (Contingency Hire)

Location: Honolulu, Hawaii, United States

Salary: $79,000–$118,500 per year for candidates working in Hawaii; actual compensation varies by experience, qualifications, work location, and other job-related factors.

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, update, and control the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
• Collect, validate, and integrate schedule information across logistics, planning, sustainment, and contingency operations teams.
• Monitor schedule performance and track progress against program objectives and milestones.
• Identify dependencies, critical milestones, conflicts, delays, resource constraints, and schedule risks.
• Prepare schedule reports, metrics, updates, and analyses for program leadership and stakeholders.
• Support transition planning by incorporating startup, execution, and turnover activities into the overall schedule.

Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance.
• Undergraduate degree and at least two years of relevant experience, or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience in project scheduling, program coordination, operations support, or related functions.
• Knowledge of project scheduling principles, timeline management, and schedule reporting.
• Experience with Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar scheduling tools.
• Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and prioritization skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting DoD, logistics, sustainment, contingency, or operational support programs.
• Knowledge of IMS development and schedule management best practices.
• Experience with transition, mobilization, startup, or turnover activities.
• Familiarity with project controls, performance tracking, and schedule risk analysis.
• Scheduling, project management, or program management certifications.
