Senior Project Scheduler - Aviation

Location: Onsite in Los Angeles, California, at the LAX office or project site. This is not a work-from-home position. Monday–Friday, full time; after-hours or weekend work may be required.

Salary: $114,345.69–$130,680.78 per year.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain detailed construction planning schedules for new construction and renovation work within an aviation terminal development and improvement program.
• Review preliminary, baseline, look-ahead, monthly update, recovery, time impact, extension-request, and as-built schedules submitted by design and contractor teams.
• Coordinate interfaces across multiple concurrent and interdependent projects valued at $100M or more.
• Analyze contractor delay claims, disruption, acceleration, recovery opportunities, and potential owner liabilities.
• Prepare reports, briefings, and objective schedule assessments for the owner and third parties.
• Collaborate with project managers, construction managers, controls leads, claims staff, contractors, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of scheduling experience, including more than 5 years supporting active construction projects.
• Direct forensic scheduling experience on complex heavy civil, vertical, or horizontal projects valued at least $200M and lasting three years or more.
• Advanced Oracle Primavera use, with mastery of Primavera Project Planner version 6.0 or higher; experience with Schedule Analyzer, Microsoft Project, Claims Digger, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam.
• Experience with Design-Bid-Build, Design+CMAR, and Design/Build delivery methods, as well as multiple concurrent and interrelated projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
• Must work onsite in the Los Angeles/LAX office or project site; transportation to and from LAX is the consultant’s responsibility.

Nice to have

• Prior aviation and large transportation project experience.
