Segment Risk Manager Sr – Business Continuity & Resiliency

What you will do

• Oversee operational and regulatory risk management programs for a major business segment.
• Evaluate internal controls, risk mitigation strategies, self-monitoring, testing, and Risk & Control Self-Assessments.
• Coordinate risk governance between the business segment, Corporate Risk, and Audit, escalating significant risks and control gaps.
• Develop and maintain Business Continuity Plans and conduct Business Impact Analyses.
• Coordinate disaster recovery strategies and recovery objectives with IT and stakeholders, including RTO and RPO metrics.
• Lead crisis response, continuity testing, training, tabletop exercises, and post-incident improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or four additional years of segment-specific or risk-related experience in lieu of the degree.
• At least 7 years of experience in Audit, Compliance, Risk Management, Operational Risk, or a related discipline.
• Experience in a regulated industry, operational resiliency, and risk governance.
• Experience building or managing Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery programs, conducting Business Impact Analyses, and performing scenario planning.
• Knowledge of ISO 22301, NIST, FFIEC, crisis management structures, incident command protocols, and third-party continuity risk.
• Strong executive communication, crisis leadership, and ability to influence business, technology, and risk functions.

Nice to have

• Prior leadership or people management experience.
• Certifications such as CBCP, MBCP, CRISC, CISM, or similar.
