TL;DR
AVP, Business Continuity (Financial Services): Leading the development and evolution of enterprise business continuity and resiliency programs with an accent on business impact analysis, continuity testing, crisis management, and third-party resiliency. Focus on translating program requirements into actionable controls, coordinating remediation, and supporting responses to business-disrupting events.

Location: Fort Mill/Charlotte, United States

Pay range: $102,176.00–$170,362.00 base salary annually

What you will do

  • Support the enterprise resiliency strategy, policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Lead business continuity lifecycle activities, including business impact analyses, plan development, testing, and quality reviews.
  • Build stakeholder relationships across business units, technology resilience, operational risk, supplier risk, compliance, and related functions.
  • Support threat monitoring, incident response, crisis management, and crisis communications.
  • Identify resiliency risks, recommend corrective actions, and track issue and gap remediation.
  • Prepare resiliency risk reports and support third-party business continuity assessments and contract reviews.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in financial services, technology, or consulting.
  • At least 3 years of experience in business continuity, crisis management, disaster recovery, or related resiliency work.
  • Business continuity certification such as MBCP, CBCP, or BCI equivalent, or successful CBCP attainment within the first 6 months as a condition of employment.
  • Experience with BCP planning and incident management tools, preferably Archer GRC, Everbridge, NC4, or GETS/WPS.
  • Familiarity with process, risk, and controls frameworks.
  • Ability to lead and influence across a geographically dispersed, dotted-line organization.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of operational risk management principles and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of disaster recovery, third-party resilience, and technology resilience methodologies.
  • Project management skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Effective time and meeting management skills.
