Lead Product Manager (Enterprise Data Inventory)

Location: Rockville, Maryland, United States; hybrid work environment with defined in-person presence requirements

Salary: $131,200–$238,300 annual base salary for work performed in Maryland

What you will do

• Define and communicate the vision, strategy, roadmap, and success metrics for the Enterprise Data Inventory platform.
• Lead the product lifecycle from discovery and research through implementation, launch, and ongoing operations.
• Translate requirements from privacy, cybersecurity, information operations, technology operations, and internal audit stakeholders into product features.
• Prioritize use cases, manage the backlog, coordinate sprint planning, and guide scope and release decisions.
• Partner with application owners, data stewards, engineering, UX/UI, architecture, and senior leadership to build consensus and deliver product outcomes.
• Lead pilots, user acceptance testing, launch planning, product documentation, and iterative improvements based on feedback.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 7 years of experience in product management, project management, business analysis, program management, or product marketing, including 5 years in product or experience management.
• Experience with Agile software development, large-organization collaboration, senior leadership engagement, and translating data into quantifiable deliverables.
• Strong writing ability and business acumen.
• Understanding of sensitive data types, regulatory requirements, data classification frameworks, and data loss prevention concepts.
• Ability to guide metadata-based sensitive data identification and balance accuracy with solution cost-effectiveness.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in business administration or a similar advanced degree.
• CSPO certification.
• Financial services industry experience and strong financial acumen.
• Experience guiding cross-functional resources.
