Engineering Technician (Medical Devices)

Location: East Greenbush, New York, United States; onsite, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm

Salary: $21.49–$38.70 per hour

What you will do

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair laboratory and machine shop equipment.
• Develop test methods and perform feasibility testing, validation, design verification, and inspection for combination products.
• Support equipment qualification, including system requirements and IQ/OQ development.
• Assist with the development of combination product assembly and test equipment.
• Write operator instructions, logbooks, and testing reports.
• Document deviations, conduct investigations, and implement corrective and preventive actions while following cGMP requirements.

Requirements

• BS or BA in an engineering field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Engineering Technician I: 0–2 years of experience; Engineering Technician II: 2+ years of experience. Level is determined by experience.
• Experience in a cGMP environment is preferred.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, or functional laboratory testing is preferred.
• Ability to work onsite in East Greenbush, New York, Monday through Friday during standard daytime hours.
