Learning Designer - 12 Month Contract

Location: Fully remote within Canada, including Alberta, Ontario, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Saskatchewan; occasional travel throughout North America to company events and client sites.

What you will do

• Create engaging and effective software training for clients.
• Help clients progress successfully through their implementation journey.
• Transform technical documentation and other materials into training, activities, and assessments.
• Create onboarding and training content for new internal team members.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to e-learning initiatives.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience creating high-quality training materials for software applications.
• Certificate or diploma specializing in adult instructional design, curriculum development, or a related field.
• Experience using Adobe products, Zoom, Pages, and Keynote to create training activities and artifacts.
• Strong proficiency in Articulate Rise and Storyline, with working knowledge of LMS platforms and SCORM-based publishing workflows.
• Excellent verbal communication and advanced English writing skills.
• Interest in lifelong learning and curiosity about AI-powered learning tools such as Synthesia and NotebookLM.

Nice to have

• Experience in the utility sector, SaaS, or software implementation.
