TL;DR
Instructional Designer (Clinical Training): Creating customer-facing eLearning, microlearning, instructor-led training, job aids, and documentation for clinical trial programs with an accent on instructional design, learning technology, and collaboration with subject matter experts. Focus on managing the full training development lifecycle, translating complex clinical and technical concepts into effective learning solutions, and improving training effectiveness.
Location: Costa Rica; hybrid collaboration with regular in-office participation

What you will do
- Assess learning needs and recommend instructional design solutions aligned with business and client requirements.
- Design customer-facing training for product, project, and protocol-specific deliverables.
- Create eLearning modules, instructor-led presentations, job aids, reference guides, and documentation.
- Manage needs analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, Content Development, Customer Care, Product Management, and project teams.
- Monitor training effectiveness, improve workflows and best practices, and communicate project risks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or certification in Learning and Development, Education, Business, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in corporate training, learning and development, or instructional design.
- Experience applying instructional design methodologies and developing engaging learning experiences.
- Experience with Articulate Rise, Articulate Storyline 360, PowerPoint, Adobe Captivate, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar authoring tools.
- Strong content development, learning technology, curriculum design, project management, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, learn new tools quickly, and participate in hybrid collaboration.
Nice to have
- Experience interpreting technical specifications and translating complex concepts into training solutions.
- Experience creating video-based learning content, animations, or multimedia training assets.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical, healthcare, or clinical research industries.
- Portfolio or work sample demonstrating instructional design and content development capabilities.
