Training and Development Specialist

What you will do

• Create, develop, facilitate, and update corporate training curricula and resources.
• Support new-hire onboarding and the transition from the learning environment to live work.
• Maintain employee training and development records in the learning management system.
• Partner with leaders to analyze workforce performance and identify additional training needs.
• Conduct training needs assessments and coordinate training preparation, schedules, communications, and documentation.
• Run training classes independently and provide coverage for the manager as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, adult education, instructional design, or a closely related field, or relevant experience or licensure.
• 1–2 years of corporate experience in training facilitation, content design, and instructional design.
• Knowledge of instructional design and Adult Learning Theory.
• Strong knowledge of learning management and content creation systems.
• Proven ability to complete an entire training cycle and facilitate training for leadership and non-managerial audiences.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and adapt positively to change.
