Salary: $105,050–$161,800 USD annually, with additional bonus and/or equity opportunities for candidates in the United States.

What you will do

  • Plan, design, and conduct usability studies and human factors evaluations throughout product development.
  • Execute formative and summative usability testing, including protocols, participant recruitment, data collection, and analysis.
  • Lead human factors validation activities in alignment with relevant standards.
  • Translate qualitative and quantitative research findings into practical design recommendations.
  • Present research reports and insights to designers, engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Benchmark competitor usability, identify risks early, and improve research processes and best practices.

Requirements

  • Four-year or graduate degree in design, human factors engineering, social sciences research, or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated competence.
  • 4–7 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 3–5 years of experience.
  • Experience with human factors engineering, user research, usability testing, product design, and user-centered design.
  • Ability to apply qualitative and quantitative research methods, statistical and behavioral analysis, and data interpretation.
  • Ability to develop research protocols, technical documentation, presentations, and visualizations of findings.
  • Effective communication, customer centricity, results orientation, learning agility, and digital fluency.

  • Certified Human Factors Professional (CHFP).
  • Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE).
  • Certified User Experience Professional (CUXP).
