Associate Manufacturing - Nights (Biotech)

Location: Onsite at one of hirify.global's manufacturing facilities in West Greenwich, Rhode Island, United States. Onboarding lasts 2–6 weeks on a Monday–Friday, approximately 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. schedule, followed by a rotating 12-hour night shift from 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m., covering 7 days per week.

What you will do

• Perform manufacturing operations under general supervision according to standard operating procedures.
• Operate equipment and monitor critical manufacturing processes.
• Complete routine validation protocols and prepare or revise manufacturing procedures, SOPs, and technical reports.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and assist with documentation reviews.
• Participate in cross-functional teams and represent manufacturing operations.
• Own deviations and CAPAs, and identify and implement improvements to routine functions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED plus 2 years of manufacturing or operations experience; or an associate degree plus 6 months of relevant experience; or a bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
• Mechanical competence and willingness to learn equipment operation and troubleshooting.
• Ability to follow written procedures and safety protocols, with basic understanding of GMP and regulatory guidelines.
• Ability to work the required 12-hour rotating night shift, including some Sundays.
• Clear written and verbal communication, organization, adaptability, initiative, and teamwork.

Nice to have

• Internship or academic project experience in manufacturing, biotech, medical devices, or related industries.
• Familiarity with computerized systems, automation tools, or HMIs.
• Foundational knowledge of cell culture, purification, or aseptic techniques.
• Basic data analysis or statistical skills and proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office.
