MCPP - Production Supervisor (Logistics)

hirify.global provides maintenance and logistics services to the U.S. Marine Corps through the Marine Corps Prepositioning Program.

What you will do

• Supervise logistics personnel, data entry staff, supply clerks, forklift operators, and warehouse workers.
• Coordinate receiving, inspection, servicing, storage, shipping, and disposal of supplies and equipment.
• Assign work based on operational priorities and inspect completed work for compliance with procedures and schedules.
• Coordinate logistics activities across supervisors, vendors, maintenance commodities, supply personnel, and distribution management.
• Inspect materials, approve shipments and receipts, and maintain accurate equipment and material accountability.
• Train new workers, recommend procedure changes, and maintain MCP ISO-9002 compliance.

Requirements

• Associate degree or coursework toward a bachelor's degree in business or a related field; equivalent education, certifications, training, and relevant experience may be considered.
• Ten years of progressive experience in supply operations and maintenance or logistics support, including five years in a supervisory role.
• Experience with cost and schedule controls, performance monitoring, report writing, program planning, and customer interface.
• U.S. citizenship, a U.S. stateside driver's license, and a U.S. passport are required.
• Active Department of Defense secret security clearance is required.
• FBI background investigation with no criminal, civil, or security violations is required.

• Understanding of Marine Corps policies, regulations, and orders.
• Industry certification and expert knowledge of military shipping and storage procedures.
• Knowledge of maintenance procedures for military tactical equipment and supplies.
• Working knowledge of GCSS-MC and MCPIC.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
