Planning Supervisor (Manufacturing)

STS Aerospace operates an aerospace manufacturing business focused on planning, logistics, supplies, and production delivery.

What you will do

• Lead the development and execution of the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and its conversion into material requirements.
• Ensure production schedules reflect forecasts, backlog, material availability, capacity, policies, and business goals.
• Coordinate with Value Stream Analysis and Material Planning to assess capacity, supplier performance, labor, inventory, and supplier capabilities.
• Communicate internal capacity needs, support staffing proposals, and participate in customer delivery and EMM meetings.
• Own KPIs, revenue projections, inventory metrics, and obsolescence tracking.
• Supervise, assign work to, and develop 7–9 analysts and planning professionals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, planning, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five to seven years of related experience and/or training.
• Experience with production scheduling, material planning, capacity planning, inventory, and delivery assurance.
• Ability to supervise employees, including hiring, training, performance management, and problem resolution.
• Ability to work consistently and predictably on time and perform the physical requirements of the manufacturing environment, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally.
