Small Business Lending Consultant

Location: Onsite at the Easton office in Columbus, Ohio, United States

What you will do

• Provide lending solutions and take business loan applications for community lending customers.
• Communicate with customers, branch partners, and underwriters to submit applications and obtain credit decisions.
• Handle new lending opportunities generated through internal channels and inbound phone calls.
• Use Elite Digital Lobby technology to communicate with customers and exchange documents.
• Support branch colleagues and business lending customers from initial engagement through credit decision.
• Hand off credit-approved and customer-accepted applications to the Business Lending Client Specialist.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of sales experience in financial services or a credit environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills across face-to-face, phone, and chat interactions.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, critical-thinking, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• PC and internet proficiency.
• Must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States; immigration sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Business banking sales or lending experience.
• Business lending product knowledge.
• Experience with Salesforce MAX, ESS, AFS Vision, Velocity, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
