Inside Loan Originator (Fintech)

What you will do

• Convert inbound premium leads and incoming calls into mortgage loans.
• Consult with borrowers about current and future financing needs, rates, products, and programs.
• Collect and review borrower income and supporting loan documentation.
• Take mortgage applications by phone, counsel borrowers, and negotiate loan terms and conditions.
• Manage a personal loan pipeline to meet service standards and financial goals.
• Evaluate credit requests, monitor market trends, and comply with federal and state requirements.

Requirements

• At least one year of sales or loan origination experience in a consumer-direct or call-center environment.
• Experience collecting and analyzing borrower income, proactively soliciting business, and negotiating with customers.
• Knowledge of retail lending products, underwriting policies, procedures, documentation, and systems.
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Availability to work varying hours and overtime when needed.

Nice to have

• Experience converting leads and inbound calls.
• NMLS and state licensing under the SAFE Act of 2008.
