Correspondent Senior Business Development Officer (Banking)

Location: Remote opportunity based in the United States, with travel required 90% of the time

What you will do

• Develop new relationships and generate sales of correspondent banking products and services with community banks.
• Maintain relationships with existing customers through in-bank, telephone, and written communication.
• Coordinate with bank and division management to follow up on business opportunities and customer issues.
• Plan and schedule customer and prospect visits within an assigned region and complete contact reports.
• Prepare and present comparative analyses and service offerings for correspondent banking prospects.
• Represent correspondent banking services at bank-sponsored and external events while managing relationships with industry influencers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
• Six to ten years of related experience and/or training.
• Business development and relationship management experience within the banking industry.
• Strong sales, written and verbal communication, analytical, customer service, and follow-up skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email systems, and basic computer operations.
• Secure, private home office with reliable non-cellular internet connection required; the role involves 90% travel.
