What you will do

• Provision, configure, administer, and troubleshoot Amazon WorkSpaces and EC2 instances running Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
• Administer management systems and containerized applications deployed in Kubernetes environments.
• Manage Microsoft Active Directory domains, including accounts, group policies, authentication, permissions, and integrations.
• Automate virtual-machine provisioning, operating-system configuration, software deployment, and routine administration using PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, or similar tools.
• Provide backup and recovery services, manage file systems and disk space, and troubleshoot virtualized hardware, software, and network issues.
• Maintain system documentation, configuration baselines, procedures, and corrective-action records while supporting 24/7 continuity of operations.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience administering Windows and Linux systems, including installation, patching, configuration, maintenance, and flaw remediation for virtualized infrastructure.
• Valid Top Secret clearance with an in-scope background investigation date.
• DoD Directive 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification, such as CompTIA Security+.
• Working knowledge of AWS services including EC2, Amazon WorkSpaces, and AWS Systems Manager, with experience administering Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux in AWS.
• Experience with system hardening, vulnerability remediation, patch and configuration management, DISA STIGs, SCAP, vulnerability scanning, and security remediation.
• Knowledge of storage and networking technologies including S3, EFS, NFS, FSx, SMB, NTFS, TCP/IP, DNS, HTTPS, SSH, and LDAP.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker, EKS/Kubernetes, Terraform/IaC, Helm, Git/GitLab, container registries, and containerized applications.
• Knowledge of SSO, OIDC, SAML, identity providers, MFA, Keycloak, AppGate SDP, and Zero Trust technologies.
• Experience supporting enterprise environments of similar size and complexity.
