What you will do

• Monitor, maintain, and optimize physical and virtual server infrastructure across multiple sites.
• Administer Windows Server and Ubuntu Linux operating systems, Active Directory, Group Policy, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 identity services.
• Manage Proxmox, Nutanix, Hyper-V, and VMware virtualization platforms, including provisioning and lifecycle management.
• Oversee patching, vulnerability remediation, backups, DNS, DHCP, file services, SharePoint Online, and system monitoring.
• Implement infrastructure changes, upgrades, migrations, and new deployments while maintaining documentation and security controls.
• Act as the primary Level 2 escalation point, coordinate with vendors, and support IT operations in manufacturing and engineering environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent enterprise IT experience.
• 3–5 years of systems administration or infrastructure support experience.
• Strong Windows Server administration experience, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and hybrid on-premises AD, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Strong experience with Proxmox and Ubuntu, plus experience with VMware and Nutanix virtualization platforms.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, routing, monitoring, backups, performance analysis, and infrastructure troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and operate with minimal supervision.

Nice to have

• PowerShell scripting experience.
• Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate AZ-104 or Azure Fundamentals AZ-900 certification.
• Nutanix Certified Professional or VMware Certified Professional certification.
