Systems Administrator (Windows/Linux)

What you will do

• Administer, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server and Enterprise Linux environments.
• Support Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, PKI, virtualization, storage, backup, and recovery services.
• Support Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and related cloud technologies.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and security while resolving infrastructure issues.
• Assist with infrastructure upgrades, deployments, patching, and system lifecycle management.
• Create technical documentation, collaborate with IT teams and vendors, and improve operations through PowerShell automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience supporting Windows Server and Enterprise Linux operating systems.
• Experience administering Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, or similar infrastructure services.
• Basic understanding of virtualization, cloud technologies, backup and recovery, and networking concepts.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, prioritization, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 administration.
• At least one year of experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or a related technical role.
• Experience with PowerShell or other infrastructure automation tools.
• Familiarity with SOX compliance, ITIL practices, and service delivery concepts.
• Experience in the oil and gas industry.
