Maintenance Technician II (HVAC)

Location: On-site five days per week at the Charlotte, North Carolina manufacturing site. Schedule: 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with potential support for a second shift from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and other equipment issues.
• Research, identify, and source repair and replacement components.
• Support the planning and installation of new equipment and facility improvements.
• Coordinate with contractors, equipment manufacturers, and suppliers on equipment operation, service, and repairs.
• Maintain service records, attend safety training, and follow established safety and operating procedures.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience with general mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic technology.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Foundational knowledge of electrical wiring and power systems.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a group setting.
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal direction.
• Willingness to support a second shift if future business needs require it.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of PLCs.
