Learning Management System (LMS) & Training Specialist

Location: Morton Grove, Illinois, United States; hybrid schedule with 3 days per week onsite

Salary: $65,000–$80,000 per year plus bonus

What you will do

• Administer the Absorb Learning Management System as the primary system administrator and subject matter expert.
• Manage course catalogs, learning paths, certifications, curricula, enrollments, learner records, access, and data accuracy.
• Generate and analyze reports covering participation, completions, certifications, engagement, and training effectiveness.
• Troubleshoot user, system, and tracking issues in partnership with IT and support teams.
• Support instructor-led, virtual, self-paced, and onsite training programs, including registrations, communications, attendance, certifications, and learner support.
• Coordinate training logistics and work with instructors and stakeholders on schedules, accreditation reporting, and customer learning experiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years of experience administering a Learning Management System.
• Experience with Absorb, Cornerstone, Docebo, LearnUpon, SAP SuccessFactors, or a similar LMS.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent organizational, project management, communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to a high-quality learner experience.

Nice to have

• Experience in customer education, training operations, or learning programs.
• Experience administering Absorb LMS.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles or instructional design methodologies.
• Experience with Articulate Rise, Storyline, Camtasia, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience in HVAC, hydronics, technical training, or industrial manufacturing.
