Manager, Global Product Support (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: United States — San Jose, California; support coverage also includes Plainview, New York. Travel may be required domestically and internationally for up to 30–50% of the time.

Salary: $131,000–$165,668 per year, plus bonus opportunity.

What you will do

• Lead and supervise the Technical Product Support group for the IBD300 product line.
• Work with customers to integrate hirify.global hardware and software into their manufacturing processes and support IBD300 applications.
• Resolve complex field issues involving electrical and electronic systems, software, hardware, installations, facilities, and process applications.
• Coordinate Field Service, Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Marketing, Customer Operations, and Technical Sales teams on equipment and customer problems.
• Support late-stage hardware and software upgrades and their rollout to customers.
• Define service metrics, analyze support quality, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and at least 8 years of experience in technical support or engineering; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
• Demonstrated experience managing, supervising, or leading technical teams.
• Experience with vacuum tools and complex electromechanical manufacturing equipment.
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor equipment and process control, including ultra-high-vacuum chambers, transfer modules, wafer handling, automation, and clean-room practices.
• Experience with Windows-based software debugging, log analysis, equipment controls, PLCs, issue tracking, and large-volume technical data analysis.
• Effective English communication across cultural and language boundaries is required.
