What you will do

• Manage a mechanical engineering group responsible for mechanical systems and equipment design.
• Lead staffing, mentoring, professional development, team building, organizational planning, hiring, retention, and budget adherence.
• Technically lead and execute engineering projects and programs for a next-generation product.
• Coordinate engineering resources with cross-functional teams to meet product goals and deliver product releases on schedule.
• Resolve complex engineering issues with internal and external customers and address high-value product problems.
• Define product strategy, objectives, and roadmap while guiding research and development of new mechanical engineering technologies.

Requirements

• Strong background in etch equipment development.
• Experience with inductively coupled plasma source design and integration.
• Experience developing plasma process hardware and subsystems.
• Experience with cross-functional product execution in high-volume semiconductor environments.
• Ability to manage multiple related teams, set priorities, allocate resources, and resolve complex technical and organizational problems.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time.
