Senior Electrical Engineer (Embedded Systems)

What you will do

• Design electrical schematics, embedded and power circuits, and PCB layouts for autonomous robotic turret systems.
• Develop real-time embedded software in C++ and Python for autonomous defense applications.
• Simulate signal integrity, thermal behavior, and electromagnetic compatibility to validate robust designs.
• Integrate sensors, motors, actuators, electrical components, and mechanical systems with software and mechanical teams.
• Test, debug, and optimize embedded systems in laboratory and field environments, including power and performance optimization.
• Maintain design documentation, simulation results, test protocols, schematics, and PCB layouts.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in electrical and firmware design, including schematic design, electrical simulation, PCB layout, and embedded software.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience with microcontroller-based control systems, power conversion, motor drives, and electromechanical integration.
• Expertise with PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, or Eagle, and simulation tools such as SPICE or ANSYS Electronics.
• Strong embedded C++ and Python skills, with experience developing real-time, safety-critical, and robotic control systems.
• Hands-on experience testing and validating designs against military standards.

Nice to have

• Thermal management experience for high-power systems.
• Embedded Linux, RTOS, and custom kernel development experience.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, CAN, UART, and I2C communication protocols.
• Experience optimizing low-latency embedded systems under power and computational constraints.
