What you will do
- Act as the technical review authority for FEC military products.
- Facilitate design review processes and ensure technical excellence in engineering deliverables.
- Lead 1–3 high-profile projects as the responsible engineer.
- Support business development with estimates, proposals, and customer negotiations.
- Assist program managers with risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
- Mentor junior engineers and advise senior management on strategic technical decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience designing and manufacturing machinery.
- Expert proficiency in detailed engineering design of electromechanical products.
- Familiarity with MIL specifications, 3D CAD, PLM, PLC and VFD programming, and testing.
- Leadership, problem-solving, organizational, project coordination, and communication skills.
- Proof of US citizenship and an attestation of no dual citizenship are required to access NOFORN data.
Nice to have
- Graduate degree in a technical or business field.
- Experience with naval deck machinery such as elevators, winches, hoists, cranes, doors, hull closures, or hatches.
- Project or program management experience.
