FEC Electrical Engineer

Location: Federal Equipment Co, 5298 River Road, Cincinnati, Ohio, United States of America. US citizenship is required, and applicants must attest that they do not have dual citizenship.

What you will do

• Act as the technical review authority for FEC military products.
• Facilitate design review processes and ensure technical excellence in engineering deliverables.
• Lead 1–3 high-profile projects as the responsible engineer.
• Support business development with estimates, proposals, and customer negotiations.
• Assist program managers with risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
• Mentor junior engineers and advise senior management on strategic technical decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience designing and manufacturing machinery.
• Expert proficiency in detailed engineering design of electromechanical products.
• Familiarity with MIL specifications, 3D CAD, PLM, PLC and VFD programming, and testing.
• Leadership, problem-solving, organizational, project coordination, and communication skills.
• Proof of US citizenship and an attestation of no dual citizenship are required to access NOFORN data.

Nice to have

• Graduate degree in a technical or business field.
• Experience with naval deck machinery such as elevators, winches, hoists, cranes, doors, hull closures, or hatches.
• Project or program management experience.
