Electrical Systems Design Engineer

Location: Onsite five days per week in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, or Peoria, Illinois, United States. Domestic relocation assistance is available.

Salary: $97,530–$146,290 per year.

What you will do

• Support factories and customers with electrical troubleshooting inquiries under the direction of electrical system leads.
• Collaborate with suppliers and component subject matter experts to resolve electrical system concerns and supply chain sustainability issues.
• Support electrical system design concepts and prototype activities for new product introduction.
• Lead small-scale cross-functional projects addressing customer needs.
• Maintain and support the operational use of the electrical hardware and harness room.

Requirements

• Accredited degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field.
• Strong analytical thinking, communication, prioritization, and technical problem-solving skills.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical systems with diagnostic tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
• Working knowledge of HIL testing, electrical schematic interpretation and generation, and electromagnetic compatibility testing.
• Ability to work onsite five days per week in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, or Peoria, Illinois.
• Visa sponsorship is not available.
