Pediatric Triage RN - Overnight (9pm - 9am ET)

Location: Fully remote within the United States; overnight schedule from 9pm to 9am ET, with weekend and holiday rotations required.

Salary: $78,000–$83,000 base annually, plus equity eligibility.

What you will do

• Assess urgent pediatric concerns and triage patients through chat, SMS, telephone, and video visits.
• Apply evidence-based clinical protocols and provide ongoing clinical and psychosocial assessments.
• Identify care barriers, reduce care gaps, and support medication management and appointment adherence.
• Educate families about equipment used to remotely monitor infant health.
• Monitor abnormal laboratory and radiology results, document care, and escalate cases to multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide user feedback to support program and product development.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with a BSN and a current unrestricted multi-state compact license.
• 3+ years of experience in outpatient pediatric primary care, pediatric urgent care, or a pediatric emergency room.
• Experience providing pediatric triage virtually, by phone, or in person.
• Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely through video, phone, and text.
• Availability for overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, and occasional infrequent travel.
• Understanding of birth inequity and structural racism in maternal and infant morbidity and mortality.

Nice to have

• Additional outpatient pediatric care or virtual/phone pediatric triage experience.
• CLC, IBCLC, or Sleep Consultant certification.
• Experience providing care in Spanish.
