Triage Clinical Guide (Registered Nurse) - Care OnDemand

Location: Remote USA; night shift primarily from 6:00 PM–2:30 AM ET, including rotating weekends and holidays.

Salary: $85,000–$110,000 per year.

What you will do

• Provide telephone- and patient-portal-based clinical advice, education, and triage.
• Coordinate access to primary care, urgent care, emergency services, and Devoted Medical providers.
• Support patients with urgent complaints through video telehealth visits across multiple geographies.
• Monitor clinical chat queues, respond to portal messages, escalate active symptoms, and create Care OnDemand support episodes.
• Share educational materials and clinical summaries securely after obtaining patient consent.
• Collaborate with RNs, NPs, PAs, MDs, and medical assistants while participating in learning and knowledge-sharing activities.

Requirements

• Active, unencumbered Compact RN license or willingness to obtain additional state licenses for non-compact states.
• At least five years of direct patient care experience.
• Clinical triage experience in an emergency department, intensive care unit, primary care, or telephonic triage setting.
• Prior telehealth experience.
• Ability to quickly learn electronic medical records, remote telephone software, and virtual video systems.
• Exceptional communication, active listening, organization, and task-switching skills.

• BSN degree.
• Experience caring for older adults.
• Experience in population health or value-based care programs.
