Senior Project Leader

What you will do

• Advise the Contracting Authority and develop project plans aligned with objectives and organisational strategy.
• Take responsibility for contract delivery, including scope, quality, timelines, budgets, and contractual requirements.
• Lead project teams, allocate resources, review deliverables, and support team development.
• Lead the design, development, and implementation of software systems and interoperability components.
• Manage project governance, reporting, stakeholder communication, and coordination with eu-LISA programme and project teams.
• Monitor risks, costs, schedules, resources, change control, training, and adherence to quality and security requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• At least 10 years of experience as a Project or Programme Manager.
• At least 3 years of experience with Agile methodology and team collaboration tools.
• Strong consultative project management experience in IT software development and quality-related areas.
• Knowledge of business process management, enterprise architecture, project management tools, and Agile/Scrum methodologies, plus strong leadership and presentation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with PM2, PRINCE2, PMP, or other project management methodologies.
