Mechanical PM Engineer

What you will do

• Complete preventative maintenance tasks safely, on time, and to a high standard.
• Manage a team of two and coordinate with Production, Quality, Operations, and contractors.
• Support regular equipment shutdowns in collaboration with the Maintenance Team Engineer and Maintenance Operations Manager.
• Investigate Condition-Based Monitoring and On-The-Run findings with the Senior Mechanical Engineer.
• Maintain equipment performance and reliability strategies, AM/PM plans, and engineering strategies.

Requirements

• Experience in preventative maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven team management experience.
• HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, or membership of the appropriate professional institute.
• NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or equivalent.
• Training or qualifications in Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, AM/PM 7 Steps, Project Management, and Condition-Based Monitoring.

Nice to have

• Degree-level qualification in engineering, electrical engineering, or a combined mechanical and electrical discipline.
