Senior Project Engineer (Offshore)

What you will do

• Manage technical work packages and documentation from concept through to realization.
• Coordinate and expedite major subcontracts and supplier deliveries to meet company specifications.
• Facilitate constructability reviews and manage documentation for logistics and export compliance.
• Support risk management, cost control, and mandatory HSE reviews (RAMS, HAZID, etc.).
• Handle project reporting cycles, including client reviews and financial forecasting.
• Assist in build, assembly, commissioning, and delivery phases of projects.

Requirements

• Strong background in mechanical engineering applied to offshore, marine, oil & gas, or renewable sectors.
• Proven track record of delivering complex EPC projects.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies such as APM or PRINCE2.
• Experience managing multiple key suppliers and subcontracts.
• Right to Work in the UK is mandatory.

Nice to have

• Membership of a recognized engineering body (e.g., IMechE).
• Formal PM certifications (PRINCE2, APM).
• Proficiency in software tools: MSP, Primavera, SAP, IFS, TeamCenter, and SharePoint.
• Education to HNC level or higher.
