Manufacturing Engineer

What you will do

• Support operators and technicians on the shop floor across assembly, testing, and machining areas.
• Monitor process controls, resolve production bottlenecks, and perform structured root-cause analysis using methods such as 8D and 5 Whys.
• Implement corrective actions and practical improvements to fixtures, tooling, layouts, standard work, and visual management.
• Lead manufacturing and CapEx projects from concept through implementation, managing budgets, schedules, scope, and delivery.
• Improve equipment reliability, uptime, tooling, fixtures, and preventative maintenance activities in collaboration with maintenance.
• Track and analyse OEE, RFT, downtime, yield, and other production KPIs using SAP, Power BI, and Excel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, economics, or another STEM subject.
• Demonstrated success leading and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
• Familiarity with shop-floor operational practices and performance standards.
• Ability to use data to identify root causes and drive process improvements.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve real-time production issues, with strong decision-making, influencing, teamwork, organisation, and attention to detail.
