Associate Territory Manager (Cardiac Medical Devices)

Location: San Diego, CA; field-based work in hospitals, doctors' offices, and other medical establishments within the assigned territory.

Compensation: $95,000 at plan, including a $70,000 base salary and commission under the sales compensation plan.

What you will do

• Support sales activities, account growth, and territory management for LifeVest and cardiac diagnostic products.
• Persuade physicians and educate support staff through individual discussions, group in-services, exhibits, and conferences.
• Enroll and train customers on the ZOLL Patient Management System.
• Train hospital and office staff on complete medical orders and help reduce order exceptions.
• Collect documentation for new medical orders and reorders.
• Provide territory coverage during Territory Manager absences or vacancies, and analyze territory trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
• At least one year of sales experience in a strong B2B, pharmaceutical, or medical device environment; alternatively, relevant clinical, cardiology, or junior military officer experience as specified in the posting.
• Ability to influence clinical decision-making through sales presentations and discussion of clinical data.
• Valid state driver's license and ability to drive an automobile.
• Willingness to relocate within the Area Director's assigned area at the time of hire and throughout employment.
• Availability for atypical hours, including evenings and weekends, according to customer and business needs.

Nice to have

• Experience in clinical support for a pharmaceutical or medical device company.
• Clinical experience in a multispecialty hospital cardiology environment.
• Junior military officer experience leading a team, project, or account management.
