Software Engineer (Medical Devices)

What you will do

• Develop software for the Spine Application on the Excelsius GPS surgical system.
• Build prototypes, proofs of concept, and production-quality solutions for Windows platforms.
• Design, test, document, and optimize software for performance and scalability.
• Work independently on sizeable efforts and collaborate in small agile teams.
• Support the development of manufacturing test fixtures and related documentation.
• Maintain technical knowledge and follow applicable company, medical technology, and regulatory policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years of professional programming experience on Windows platforms, or a master’s degree with 1–3 years of experience.
• Professional experience with object-oriented analysis and design, C/C++, and software tools, utilities, libraries, or components.
• Ability to work independently and contribute effectively in small teams.
• Strong oral, written, and graphical communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office, and email.
• Ability to travel up to 5% of the time.

Nice to have

• UI development experience, especially with Qt.
• Medical device industry experience.
