What you will do

• Design, prototype, and develop moderately complex software for semiconductor equipment components and devices.
• Design reusable software modules and libraries for multiple products.
• Create software documentation and test procedures.
• Troubleshoot software issues and implement bug fixes.
• Communicate with internal and external customers to analyze requirements, schedules, and software problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information management, software or systems engineering, cybersecurity, mathematics, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of related experience.
• Proficiency in C, C++, .NET, and C#.
• Knowledge of operating systems, networking principles, algorithms, and multithreading.
• Ability to work in Santa Clara, California; the role is not relocation eligible.

Nice to have

• Strong conceptual knowledge of software engineering and willingness to expand technical capabilities.
• Understanding of key business drivers in the semiconductor industry.
