Sr Associate Flow Reinsurance

What you will do

• Manage third-party reinsurance relationships, including industry discussions, rate setting, and new business opportunities.
• Research markets, companies, and products to identify reinsurance opportunities.
• Analyze due diligence materials, build pricing models, prepare indicative quotes, and produce management materials with deal leads and the pricing team.
• Support transactions from target identification and structuring through contract negotiation, closing, and post-close management.
• Participate in client meetings to understand flow reinsurance needs and discuss potential solutions.
• Lead product and treaty summaries covering actuarial, reporting, and operational agreements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics or another quantitative field.
• Fellow qualification from a widely recognized actuarial body or a CFA designation.
• At least six years of experience in life insurance, reinsurance, investment banking, or a closely related financial services environment.
• Solid understanding of insurance liabilities, including fixed-rate and indexed annuities.
• Client-facing or consulting experience with strong stakeholder management and the ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent oral and written English.

• Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT to improve productivity, analyze information, or streamline processes.
