Finance Business Partner - Retail Annuities

What you will do

• Support senior finance leaders in understanding the main drivers of financial performance.
• Partner with stakeholders, provide constructive challenge, and support commercial decision-making.
• Build trusted relationships across the Retail business and wider organisation.
• Contribute to financial plans and forecasts covering IFRS, new business, Solvency II, cash, expenses, and sales.
• Translate complex financial information into clear, relevant, and actionable insight.
• Assess strategic, commercial, and operational decisions while considering fair customer treatment.

Requirements

• Qualified Actuary with relevant experience in life insurance, annuities, pension risk transfer, protection, or savings.
• Strong business-partnering skills and confidence building trusted stakeholder relationships.
• Ability to understand complex issues and communicate them clearly to different audiences.
• Commercial awareness, sound judgement, initiative, and ability to work independently.
• Experience with financial planning, forecasting, risk management, insurance reporting frameworks, cost management, and cost allocation methodologies.
• Ability to balance priorities and deliver effectively in a fast-moving environment.
