Human Resource Business Partner

Location: Onsite in Pawtucket, Rhode Island; applicants must live within a reasonable commuting distance. Relocation is not offered.

Salary: $95,000–$120,000 annual base salary, plus eligibility for an annual bonus.

What you will do

• Partner with designated business units through regular meetings and provide guidance to managers on HR-related matters.
• Manage complex employee relations cases and conduct thorough, objective investigations.
• Advise on performance management, coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions.
• Interpret HR policies and support workforce, succession, and organizational restructuring plans.
• Identify training needs, monitor training programs, and follow up on training objectives.
• Build effective relationships across HR, management, and employees to improve morale, productivity, and retention.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and relevant professional experience.
• 8–10 years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues.
• Working knowledge of compensation, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state employment laws.
• Strong business acumen, communication, consultation, ethical practice, relationship management, and global and cultural awareness.
• Ability to coach and mentor colleagues and lead small teams or projects as needed.
• Ability to work onsite in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, within a reasonable commuting distance.

• SHRM-SCP certification.
• Experience supporting a manufacturing operations team.
